During my internship at Superfly I worked with my mentor - Sam and the lead UX designer. Sam inspired me to strengthen my web-development skills and helped me really understand the importance of developers working closely with the designers. The website superf.ly was built as a static website in Vue.js and constructed in Jekyll. Sam would share his code files with me, allowing me to break down his code to understand the internals of the side and to familiarize myself with javascript frameworks and libraries.
One of the most importants jobs I had while at Superfly was researching our user behavior flows on the old website and making suggested changes to the way that users navigate throughout the site. I was involved in created clickable prototypes and handed them off to the development team. The team aimed to keep the site playful and energetic to reflect the band. By picking a fun yet unique typeface, skewed images, and bold colors we achieved
our goal.
